Our Services
We specialize in turning raw terrain into welcoming, rideable spaces that make it easy for people to show up, ride, and keep coming back.
What We Do
-
Every great trail starts with a solid plan. We evaluate trail corridors, identify access points, flag potential reroutes, and design features with enough flexibility to handle real‑world construction challenges. We also handle environmental compliance, reviewing regulations and risks so the finished trail is both rider‑ready and responsibly built.
-
Shire Built creates detailed trail renderings that map out proposed routes, difficulty levels, features, structures, drainage, signage, facilities, and access points. These concept designs help us build accurate construction estimates and pinpoint any subcontractors or specialists needed to bring the project to life.
-
Our priority is delivering your project on time and on budget. The Shire Built crew brings in and stages all equipment on site for efficient daily use. Construction usually starts with a lead machine clearing the corridor, a second machine shaping features, and a final hand‑finish for trimming and compaction. We stay in close contact throughout the build, keeping you updated on progress, any concerns, and the expected completion date.
-
Our time in the field designing and building trails also means we know how to keep them running well for years. We can assess how a trail is riding, identify problem spots, price out repairs, and put together a clear plan for ongoing maintenance and tune‑ups.
-
From Red Bull Rampage to custom video shoots, we help brands and riders design and build trails that showcase their products and talent.
What We Build
Have something in mind that’s not listed below? We’re always up for a challenge.
-

Bike Parks & Trails
We design and build bike parks and trail networks in terrain with natural elevation, from flowy blue runs to advanced technical lines. Our trails can include jumps, drops, rock gardens, and other features that keep riding fun and progression‑oriented. Where access and land use allow, we add machine‑built berms and jump lines that bring a modern, bike‑park feel to your local mountain.
-

Pump Tracks
Pump tracks are like roller coasters for bikes—a continuous loop of rollers and berms that riders navigate by ‘pumping’ instead of pedaling. We shape smooth, compacted lines that work for everyone from first‑time riders to advanced users, with designs that allow for endless lap options and natural speed. Built well, pump tracks become all‑day community hubs where kids, teens, and adults can ride together.
-

Dirt Jumps / Slopestyle
We build dirt jump and slopestyle lines for riders who want to get airborne and push their skills. These spaces feature carefully shaped takeoffs, landings, and rhythm sections tailored to modern dirt‑jump and slopestyle bikes. Whether it’s a small progression line or a full‑on slopestyle course, we focus on smooth flow, safe landings, and repeatable hits that keep riders coming back for ‘just one more run.’
